Summary:

In this role, the Spectrum Transaction Professional will negotiate spectrum exchange, acquisition, cancellation and other agreements to implement FCC regulated transactions. He/she will ensure the compliance with FCC regulations and follow through to the closing of transactions.

Responsibilities:

The Spectrum Transaction Professional will negotiate the terms of spectrum transactions with FCC licensees and their contractors. He/she will collaborate with the Spectrum Operations team to ensure availability of replacement spectrum when necessary. They will work with the Spectrum team to ensure consistency of licensing arrangements and that all terms are appropriately filed as necessary. In this role, the Spectrum Transaction Professional will work with the with Legal team to ensure negotiated terms are captured accurately in agreements.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must have a bachelor’s degree or higher and 5-7 years of experience as a Spectrum Transaction Professional. You must have experience working with the FCC Universal Licensing System and entering data accurately into a transactional database. You Must be comfortable working cross-functionally and interacting with people at all levels; including the FCC licensees’ staff, consultants and attorneys. The Ability to project manage changes to agreements and implement necessary contractual changes with attorneys is required.
