Summary:
The Product and Commercial Development Sr. Manager will be responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and development for the product or product line, in all facets of product’s life with a focus on Critical Infrastructure, Utilities and Enterprise markets featuring reliability and cyber security.

Responsibilities:
The Product and Commercial Development Sr. Manager must be able to take a solutions approach to solve the needs of the market, which results in a profitable and sustainable business model, with a differentiated value in the marketplace. They will collaborate with various stakeholders within PDV. They will be responsible for developing internal requirements, processes, materials, and tools for the wider team at PDV, and support customer engagement efforts by the business development and sales teams.

The Product and Commercial Development Sr. Manager, is responsible for the Business Model Development and Launch. They will drive all aspects of the process to lead to executive approval post gate review, product launch and subsequent long-term support of the product (solution).

They will develop MRD for CI and Enterprise to access product feasibility, soliciting engineering feedback, cost, and price points. The Product and Commercial Development Sr. Manager will provide market analysis, and recommend top verticals and segments within CI and Enterprise for proposed solutions and outreach efforts.

They will work with Technology team to develop solution architecture to support the roadmap and develop, maintain, and update collateral and sales engagement tools.
They are responsible to develop and maintain a competitive matrix to support market analysis, and perform financial analysis for internal ROI, and develop customer facing pricing models and tools to support sales and marketing.

The Commercial Development Sr. Manager will develop and implement go-to-market strategy, and develop and implement plan to position product, and generate market interest such as: pilots, sandbox, speaking engagements, partnership development.

This person will lead development of product, development of product roadmap to support PDV’s corporate objectives, and the project management for customer engagement, interfacing with business development, sales, engineering, and operations as necessary.

Qualifications:
To succeed in this role a BSc in Science or Engineering, or BA required, and Masters preferred. This role has a required minimum of 10 years of experience in telecom, engineering, product management, Critical Infrastructure Industry, Utilities, machine to machine solutions sales (now IoT), cyber security, applications, system integration, managed services, and financial analysis, LTE design and operations, Cyber Security, software application development, spectrum management, network management systems, network operations, Solutions as a Service (SaaS), Managed Services.
