In this role, the Licensing Specialist will prepare and file all FCC licensing documents and interact with FCC, LMR Coordinators and Licensees to create/renew licenses and effectuate changes to existing licenses. He/she will prepare and file all FCC lease filings for PDV’s clients.
The Licensing Specialist will collaborate with Business Development team to ensure consistency of leasing arrangements and that all terms are appropriately filed as necessary. He/she will work with the Spectrum team to ensure consistency of licensing arrangements and that all terms are appropriately filed as necessary, and research and document required operational licenses for the company.
In this role, the Licensing Specialist will assist in resolving licensing issues as needed, and monitor, process and document licenses and license renewals. This person will complete spectrum license applications and gather required supporting documents and signatures. He/ she will file for new licenses using the ULS FCC database and other databases as necessary.
The Licensing Specialist will interact with FCC staff, coordinator staff, and licensees to ensure changes are completed efficiently and to completion. He/she will modify licenses to effectuate changes that implement spectrum exchange/acquisition and other types of agreements.
To be successful in this role, you must have a bachelor’s degree or higher and 5-7 years of experience as a Licensing Specialist. Experience working with the FCC Universal Licensing System, the ability to file for new licenses ULS FCC database, and experience modifying licenses to effectuate changes that implement spectrum exchange/acquisition and other types of agreements required. You must have experience interacting with FCC staff, coordinator staff, and licensees to ensure changes are completed efficiently and to completion, and experience working with the FCC Antenna Registration System. You must be comfortable working cross-functionally and interacting with people at all levels.
